Supporting bilingualism: The role of stories, songs and rhymes


Description

In this course, Bookbug practitioners will learn about the languages of Scotland, explore the latest research on infant brain development and multilingual exposure and find out more about the benefits of early language learning. They will also learn practical strategies to support confident delivery in more than one language, as well as encourage and empower families to sing and rhyme in Bookbug sessions and in the home.
